The Solihull Children and Young People's Trust is the partnership responsible for improving outcomes for all children and young people in the Borough.
The Trust brings together service users, volunteers and practitioners, managers and leaders to plan, commission and deliver services which fit local need, with the primary focus of the Trust being on prevention and early intervention.
The Trust is responsible for the Solihull Children and Young People's Plan, and meets the Children Act 2004 requirement to ensure that there is a broad local partnership of interest to improve the well-being of children and young people.
The Trust operates according to four partnership LAWS: Learning; Accountable; Well governed; and Shared action.
Partner agencies to the Trust remain accountable to their own governance arrangements but report to the Trust Board on multi-agency issues
